A mischievous spy with perfect memory. The son of Valyeria and Richard Ridman, two Hashashins, it likely surprised no one that Phillip was an expert at both getting in trouble and managing to discover quite a bit of information while doing so. His carefully hidden clockwork eyes were capable of recording and taking pictures, which proved invaluable to Grisha and the Wolf’s Children, especially when combined with his acute memory. During the course of the Jaunt, he stole Doujima’s notebook (leaking information about the Investigators to both the Wolves’s Children and the Hashashin as a result), assisted in kidnapping Bylery, and aided into the interrogation of the man later discovered to be his uncle. Towards the end of the Jaunt, he, his father, and his uncle all whisk his mother off in order to break the brainwashing that was inflicted on her to force her into working for the Hashashin and to get the family as a whole away from them.
